GOVT COMMITS TO IMPROVE MZUZU’S FACADE

The government has assured the citizenry in Mzuzu that it will deliver all infrastructural projects in a timely manner to improve service delivery.

Minister of Local Government, Richard Chimwendo Banda, pledged after touring the ongoing construction of Mzuzu City Council’s Office Complex which is at a 45 percent completion rate.

Banda disclosed that the government allocated K2 billion from the Mid – mid-year budget for the project and the 2024/25 Budget has set aside K4 billion for the same cause.

“The government of President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is committed to developing the city of Mzuzu which has been neglected for a long time,” he said.
