The University of Malawi (UNIMA) and telecommunications giant Huawei have signed a year-long agreement that will provide recruitment opportunities for UNIMA graduates at Huawei.
Representatives of the two organisations signed the documents in Zomba today.
UNIMA’s Vice Chancellor, Dr Sunduzwayo Madise, hailed the partnership, describing it as crucial for human capital development.
“What this agreement will do is to offer opportunities to our students who are studying computer related programmes at the university to showcase their skills,” he said.
