Sunbird Tourism has reaffirmed its dedication to improving sports in the country as part of its social responsibility initiatives.
The company’s Products Marketing and Communications Manager, Widdey Nsona, emphasised this commitment during the prize presentation at a golf tournament held at Blantyre Sports Club.
The tournament saw the participation of 71 golfers from Blantyre Sports Club. In the men’s category, George Damson emerged victorious, while Maria Tandwe won in the women’s category.
The winners were awarded services from Sunbird Tourism along with cash prizes.
George Damson attributed his success to thorough preparation.
Sunbird Tourism also revealed plans to sponsor a similar tournament in Mzuzu.
