FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Defender Precious Sambani has gone absent without leave for the second time this season.
According to a well placed source, Sambani has not reported for training since the Airtel Top 8 semi-final against Kamuzu Barracks on 2 November when he was among the unused substitutes.
In his absence, Bullets went on to clinch the top 8 cup against Silver Strikers before facing the same opposition again in the Super League last weekend.
Bullets’ Chief Executive Officer, Albert Chigoga, said the matter is being handled internally.
In August this year, Sambani missed two weeks of training for unspecified reasons after being stripped off his captaincy in favour of Gomezgni Chirwa.
He has recently faced challenges breaking into the starting eleven, owing to the impressive performances of Chrispine Mapemba and Alick Lungu’s return from injury to the left-back position.
