RA COMMITS TO IMPROVE LL CITY ROADS

Board Chairperson for the Roads Authority Matilda Matabwa says road infrastructure development projects in Lilongwe are meant to transform the capital.

Matabwa said the current administration has long-term plans to repair and expand roads to ease congestion and facilitate smooth movement of goods and services.

She advised communities to desist from constructing structures in road boundaries.

The same was echoed by Malawi Congress Party Regional Chairperson for the Centre, Zebron Chilondola,  who said the distribution of projects across the country has made both Dr Chakwera and MCP popular.

On politics, Chilondola said the MCP has an open-door policy, welcoming hundreds of members despised and frustrated by other political parties.
