Pikho Farms unveils the Kingstons as Mastercard Foundation ambassadors

Pikho Farms in Lilongwe has unveiled Zeze and Dorothy Kingston as brand ambassadors for their community empowerment project under the Mastercard scholarship programme, which is being implemented in partnership with the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

Unveiling the partnership, Pikho Farms Chief Executive Officer, Pilirani Khoza — a beneficiary of Mastercard Foundation scholarship programme, said the Kingstons will not only help  sell Mastercard Foundation but will also help to lobby more people to venture into seedling production.

“It is sad that most people are not applying for these golden opportunities. I am sure that the coming in of the Kingstons will help in raising awareness about the scholarships as well as my farm here,” said Khoza.

The Kingstons applauded Pikho Farms for the deal, promising to work hard towards achieving the desired results of the assignment.

Khoza graduated in 2022 from the University of Pretoria with a master’s degree in forestry and environmental studies through Mastercard scholarship programmes.
