The Office of the Ombudsman says the Affordable Inputs Programme (AIP) needs to be re-modelled after a two year systemic investigation.
Ombudsman Grace Malera has said this at Mponela in Dowa District during an engagement with the media, adding that the programme is not transformative due to rampant scenarios of maladministration.
Malera has since urged stakeholders to re-look into the initiative by finding an exit strategy or remodeling it.
