A local tile supplying firm, IMPEX Tiles, has underscored the importance of the tile industry in propelling Malawi’s infrastructure development aspirations.
Director of IMPEX, Ashif Patel, made the remarks in light of the opening of their expanded showroom in Blantyre.
According to Patel, they are committed to supporting the nation as Malawi continues to experience growth in residential, commercial, and infrastructure development.
This will be done through the provision of quality, innovative, and value products.
“The opening of our premium showroom at Clock Tower Mall is a significant step in our growth strategy,” he said.
Patel added that they wanted to create more than just a retail outlet.
“We have created a space where customers can experience our products, receive professional guidance, and find inspiration for their construction and renovation projects,” he added.
High standards and innovative construction are critical to achieving infrastructure development.
Such standards are one of the pillars in Malawi 2063, the national long-term development blueprint.
