The Ministry of Education says it plans to expand the school feeding programme to all public primary schools by 2030.
Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, disclosed this at Chithiba Primary School in Kasungu when the International Chief Programmes Officer for Mary’s Meals visited the school to appreciate the implementation of the programme.
Mary’s Meals has been feeding children in the country since 2002. Currently, the organisation reaches out to over 1 million children.
