GHC alumni, Mitundu Community Hospital in free health screening and awareness campaign

Global Health Corps (GHC) fellowship alumni and Mitundu Community Hospital in Lilongwe have today partnered to offer free health services.

These include cervical and breast cancer screenings, HIV and AIDS testing, blood pressure checks and epilepsy assessment as part of this year’s GHC Month of Service.

Country Director for GHC, Simon Simkoko, says the initiative helps them to give back to the community.

Facility-in-Charge for Mitundu Community Hospital, Dunford Chilambula, believes the partnership is crucial in closing service delivery gaps and raising health awareness.
