No cause for alarm on rising cases of flu in Blantyre

Blantyre District Health Office has attributed the rising cases of Flu in the district to extreme cold weather conditions.

This comes as most of the hospitals in the district are registering a high number of people suffering from flu.

However, Director of Health and Social Services, Dr Gift Kawalazira, says the district continues to register a few cases of COVID-19 which are lower than three and no one has been admitted so far but he nonetheless urged people to get vaccinated to shield themselves from COVID-19.
