Four people have been killed in a road accident after the vehicle they were travelling in hit a broken down car at Lingadzi lnn this morning.
Lingadzi Police Station deputy publicist, Maria Kumwenda, says the deceased include the driver identified as Gladwell Manyati of Dalamkwanda village, Traditional Authority Maganga, Salima while the three others are yet to be identified.
Kumwenda says Manyati was driving a Toyota Dyna that was loaded with bags of fish with 11 passengers on board and lost control of the vehicle and hit a broken-down Volvo 15 that was being towed.
The casualties were taken to Kamuzu Central Hospital.
