Renowned Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba is now the manager of Amidu Ellan Muonjeza, famed for the song ‘Udikerebe’.
Mumba, who previously managed the late Wambali Mkandawire, says the idea of managing Muonjeza is out of passion and love of music.
”Currently, we are working on an album project. It’s in the pipeline we want to finalise the project by September because the young artist will return to school,” he said.
He added that the artist will receive all royalties from his music and disclosed that he has funded all the project’s costs.
“My interest is not money. I just want to help the boy and promote his talent. Anyone who wants to pick him up from there, the door is open,” Mumba said.
Amidu Ellan Muonjeza is a student from the University of Malawi. The song that put him in the spotlight, Udikirebe, gives hope to the hopeless and uplifts the souls who are about to give up.
