Drones have been dispatched over Bombo under Traditional Authority Kabunduli by the African Drone and Data Academy from the Malawi University of Science and Technology to assist in the search for the missing plane carrying Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima and nine other officials.
The search is taking place in Chikangawa Forest where security agencies have been grouped in search of the plane.
This initiative is in direct response to an order from President Dr Lazarus Chakwera, who has instructed all relevant security agencies and key stakeholders in the country to do everything possible to locate the plane.
