President Dr Lazarus Chakwera, who is also Malawi Congress Party (MCP) president, is this morning attending the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the MCP headquarters in Lilongwe.
Sources within the party say the meeting offers a platform to plan on how best to consolidate its structures in readiness for the party’s convention slated for August this year
MCP’s NEC office-bearers are charged with the responsibility of managing party affairs for a period of five years.
