President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is scheduled to inaugurate the Agriculture Investment Conference tomorrow at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Colleen Zamba, Secretary to the President and Cabinet, has confirmed this in a statement.
The conference seeks to encourage Malawians with more than five hectares of farmland to venture into commercial farming and to provide support in profitable agricultural value chains, financing and market access.
It also invites investment in agricultural resources and technologies while facilitating partnerships between under-utilized farmland owners and investors with production capacity.
