BT Police tips residents on collective responsibility

Police in Blantyre have encouraged residents to report any criminal activities in their areas, including domestic violence and vandalism of property.

Patricia Njawiri, Officer-In-Charge for South Lunzu Police Station, made the call at Machinjiri, Blantyre during a police and community solidarity walk against crime, which was organised by Ndirande and South Lunzu Police Stations to sensitise people on the importance of working together in dealing with crime.

She said to create a crime-free environment, the police should not work in isolation.

The solidarity walk started from Kameza Roundabout to South Lunzu Police Station.
