UMP Festival returns after seven years

The Urban Music People Festival, popularly known as UMP Festival, returns on the entertainment scene after a seven year break.

Making the announcement, the organisers of the event, Chitoliro Productions, say this year’s festival dubbed “The Evolution” will take place from the 25 to 28 October in Mangochi.

The UMP Festival, which started as a Mini Concert in 2009, has evolved throughout the years, rebranding to Urban Music Party and later Urban Music People Festival.

Some of the previous performers at the festival include South African rappers Emtee and Nadia Nakai as well as local artists such as Tay Grin, Fredokiss, Purple C and Gemini Major.
