State President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is now at Dwangwa, Nkhotakota where he is expected to cheer flood victims.
Secretary to the President and Cabinet Colleen Zamba, says Chakwera is accompanied by various government officials.
The Nkhotakota District Council states 14,176 people were affected, 9,378 displaced are now in camps, whereas 4,798 are staying with their relations.
