Chitipa Police have arrested 12 people for allegedly committing crimes in the district.
Deputy Public Relations Officer for Chitipa Police Station, Mathews Mfune, says the arrests follow reports of breaking and theft that the station received recently.
The 12 suspects will appear before court soon to answer charges of breaking, burglary, theft and receiving stolen property among others.
