Suspected criminals in Nsanje District have brutally murdered a watchman at Mkoposa Trading Centre in the district.
Nsanje Police Station Public Relations Officer, Agness Zalakoma, said the watchman, Innocent Semu, was found murdered at Mr Brighton Fombe’s shop where he was working as a guard.
Zalakoma further said they have established that the assailants used a pestle to kill the victim, before tying his neck with rubber.
They went on to steal assorted groceries from the shop.
Meanwhile, the police have instituted an investigation into matter.
