UK-based Malawian forward, Shaquille Gwengwe, currently playing for Dorchester Town, has garnered recognition by clinching the 23/24 Golden Boot Award in the Southern League Premier Division One South, having scored an impressive 17 goals.
Dorchester Town expressed their pride in Shaq’s accomplishment through a statement on their Facebook page.
“Another impressive season with us at The Avenue. Shaq was presented with his award by Kate Taylor following our final game of the season,” the statement highlighted.
Born in Lilongwe, Gwengwe joined Dorchester Town from AFC Totton in June 2022, following two seasons with the club, having previously played for Worthing in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
