Key stakeholders in the education sector have asked the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) to release this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education examination results.
One of the academicians, Benedicto Kondowe said that when examination results are released on time it allows learners, parents or guardians to plan their next course of Action.
“The students have developed anxiety over the delay. Depending on the outcome of the results some might need to repeat. However, both parents and students need to plan and their planning will be guided by the release of the results, otherwise, time is running out,” said Kondowe.
MANEB’s publicist Mayamiko Chiwaya told the press that the Board is in the final stages to release the 2022 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination results.
“We are doing the final processes and the results will be released as soon as they are ready,” said Chiwaya.
Other academicians like Mzuzu University’s Foster Lungu, believe, there is still room for improvement by digitising the systems without compromising the integrity of the results through the introduction of a test bank.
Chiwaya has assured the nation that maneb believes in quality and it will ensure all standards and guidelines are met. – MBC Online Services.
