President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is today travelling to the Northern Region to inspect developmental projects and also preside over Martyrs’ Day on 3 March 2024.
The day – 3 March – was set aside to honour the souls of the people who fought for the freedom of the Malawian populace.
Last year, Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima presided over the event at Chilundu Memorial Tower in Nkhatabay, on behalf of President Chakwera, who was on other official duties.
