Mzuzu Diocese urges learners to work hard

Mzuzu Diocese of the Catholic Church has encouraged learners in the country to work hard if they are to become productive citizens.

Moses Chirwa, a representative of the Parish Priest of Saint Theresa, revealed this at Saint John Bosco Secondary School during a graduation ceremony for outgoing Form Four students.

“Graduating is not the end of everything…be mindful of your morals,” Chirwa said.

The school’s Headteacher, Falliot Ngwira, reminded the graduands that life is about sacrifice and that they should focus on their goals to realize their dreams.

A total of 59 students who have graduated received certificates of attendance and some of them received awards for outstanding performance.
