Students key in environmental advocacy — MCCN

An organisation known as the Malawi Creation Care Network (MCCN) has stressed that equipping students with environmental advocacy skills is key to conserving nature.

One of the Ambassadors for MCCN, Yamikani Chiphazi, made the remarks at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) in Blantyre during a day-long workshop organised to train students on their role of promoting the environment.

Chiphazi said there is a need to engage youthful students if the fight against climate change and conservation of the environment is to be a success.

At the workshop, students of MUBAS, Malawi University of Science and Technology, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences and Chichiri Secondary School, among others, were present.
