Maranatha Private Schools has entered into a partnership with Sharda University of India to provide 50 percent scholarships to top-performing Malawian students in the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations.
Speaking in an interview, Maranatha Managing Director Ernest Kaonga said the initiative is aimed at making international education more accessible and affordable for Malawian learners.
Kaonga added that beneficiaries of the scholarship will gain global exposure and recognition, positioning them favourably in international job markets through expanded professional networks.
Sharda University hosts students from over 85 countries annually and is ranked among the leading institutions in India and globally in disciplines such as Business and Management, Economics and Econometrics, and Agriculture and Forestry.
The collaboration comes as Malawian students continue to face limited access to local university spaces, and is part of Maranatha’s broader commitment to offering global academic pathways to its students.
