KIA hosts Aviation Security Training

Department of Civil Aviation at Kamuzu International Airport has awarded certificates to 61 officers who completed a one-month training on Aviation Security training in Lilongwe.

Airport Manager, Gift Matewere urged the officers to be proactive and avoid corruption to enhance airport security operations.

One of the trainees Detective Constable Jobidon Tembo, expressed gratitude to the government and the Malawi Police for the training and assured that the officers would adhere to airport rules and regulations to improve aviation security in the country.

Among the 61 graduands are 23 female officers and 38 are male.
