Invisible Child Project improves reading culture

Primary school learners from different public schools in Blantyre have hailed the ‘Invisible Child Project’ for igniting a reading and writing culture among them.

The project, an initiative of Pen Malawi, focused on encouraging formation of Pen Clubs in schools.

One of the beneficiaries of the project, Fortune Kambala of Nachanga Primary School, thanked the initiative as it has improved his vocabulary and grammar.

President for Pen Malawi, Alfred Nsadala said using literature as a transformative tool has proven to be effective.
