National Bank of Malawi has underscored the importance of increased digital banking uptake as paperless transactions are convenient, secure and quick.
The emphasis was made in Zomba today when the bank conducted the third draw of its ‘Popanda Chifukwa’ promotion.
The bank’s Cards Acquiring and Merchant Services Manager, David Tamula, said the promotion, which started in December last year and will conclude at the end of this month, has helped improve the bank’s digital banking uptake.
During the draw, customers who used the bank’s ATM card, Point of Sale machines or MoPay when purchasing goods won different prizes.
