Former Secretary General of the CCAP Nkhoma Synod Reverend Dr Winston Kawale has been installed as Senior Group Gusu in the area of Traditional Authority Msakambewa in Dowa District.
Speaking after being ushered in the new office having retired from active ministry where he recently retired, Kawale pledged to work with all people in his area. He also pledged total commitment to supporting government’s agenda of combating corruption.
Traditional Authority Msakambewa expressed optimism that the coming in of Senior Group Gusu will help to foster development in his area as he portrays traceable leadership qualities having served for 40 years in church leadership.
The event was patronised by different dignitaries including Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale, Presidential Advisor on Religious Affairs Reverend Brian Kamwendo and several religious and traditional leaders including Traditional Authority Chakhaza.
