Independent Civil Society Organisation is recognizing President Dr Lazarus Chakwera’s effort to achieve transparency and accountability on public sector reforms report.
Speaking during a press briefing in Blantyre, chairperson of the grouping, Ceasar Khondowe, said there is no need to push the government to make public the contents of the report as other organizations are doing.
According to Khondowe, some of the recommendations are already being implemented by the government.
He further noted that the report was meant for reference purpose and not for the public.
At the conference, he was accompanied by the likes of veteran Human Rights activists Unandi Banda and Bishop Noel Maganga.
