Chisale’s intimidation case ruling shifted

The Lilongwe Senior Resident Magistrates Court has shifted its ruling on Norman Chisale’s intimidation case to a date to be announced next week.

The court has announced that it will set a date next week to determine whether the former bodyguard to former president Peter Mutharika has a case to answer or not.

According to Chisale’s lawyer, Stanley Chirwa, the defence filed an application for an extension of time to enable them to complete filing their submissions.

The court has given the defence three days to complete their submissions.

Chisale faces charges of intimidating public officers on live television.
