Mzuzu 12 Sponsors are the new co-sponsors of the Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) following a K20 million one-year deal which was signed at Mzuzu Golf Club in Mzuzu City.
With this sponsorship, the 2024 NRFA season is now at K25 million including K5 million from other sponsors SIMSO, the league’s long-time partner.
Mzuzu 12 Sponsors is a group of 12 Mzuzu-based businesspersons and one of the members, Counsel Victor Gondwe, said they have joined hands in sponsoring NRFA to contribute to the development of sports in the country.
Vice-President of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM), Dr Lameck Khonje, hailed the new sponsors and said this aligns with FAM’s vision of transforming the game of football in Malawi.
