Chakwera wants ministers to deliver — Commentators

Political commentators have described the call by President Dr Lazarus Chakwera to newly sworn in ministers and deputy ministers as passionate and an expression of his Government’s commitment to addressing the country’s challenges.

Speaking at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe during a swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, President Chakwera advised the ministers and deputy ministers to consider themselves as ambassadors in solving the country’s problems.

CCAP Synod of Livingstonia General Secretary, Reverend William Temb,o said it is the expectation of every Malawian that the ministers will deliver.

Another commentator, Reverend Mezuwa Banda, called upon the newly sworn-in officials to help the President achieve his goals in developing the country.
