Completion of the 20,000 capacity Mzimba Stadium will require K7 billion.
This has been established a shortwhile ago when President Dr Lazarus Chakwera visited the site.
The project is being funded by the Ministry of Local Government.
The President, First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera and Vice President Saulos Chilima are in the district inspecting various projects.
Later Dr Chakwera is expected to engage with chiefs under Inkosi ya Makhosi M’mbelwa V at his Edingeni Headquarters in the same district.
