President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is set to share his administration’s development plans and vision for Mwanza District at a rally at Mwanza Ground.
Dr Chakwera will today outline key projects and initiatives that his government intends to implement in the district.
Among the projects that the President will launch is the construction of a 5000-seater stadium, which is expected to boost the sports and tourism sectors in the district.
Thousands of people have gathered at the venue to listen to the president’s speech and witness the groundbreaking ceremony of the stadium.
The rally is part of the President’s nationwide tour to engage with the citizens and assess the development needs of various regions.
