President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has condoled the family of late Senior Chief Kapoloma with K1million.
Minister of Information, Moses Kunkuyu, who is representing the President, made this announcement at Kapoloma Headquarters in Machinga, where the funeral ceremony for the departed chief is being held.
In his tribute, the Minister said Chakwera is deeply shocked by the sudden death of the senior Chief, who devoted his life to working with the government in leading development at the community level.
Meanwhile, the government spokesperson has urged the family to amicably come up with a succession plan.
