Kamuzu Day celebrations for 2024 will be held at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre, Local Government Minister, Richard Chimwendo Banda, has disclosed.
Chimwendo Banda says given Kamuzu’s status as a national icon, the ministry reached an agreement with his family to rotate the celebrations across different regions, reflecting Kamuzu’s presidency, which encompassed the entire nation.
He said President Chakwera will lead Malawians in celebrating Kamuzu Banda’s achievements and his patriotism to the country.
