Immediate past Board Chairperson of the Southern Region Water Board (SRWB), Brown Mpinganjira, has praised the board’s management team for their hard work and dedication, which he says have led to the successful implementation of various water supply projects and improved service delivery.
Mpinganjira attributed the board’s effective performance to the professionalism and commitment of the management team in executing its operations.
He highlighted several achievements during his tenure, including the completion of the Nkhudzi Bay Water Supply Project, which has greatly improved access to clean and safe water for residents of Mangochi and surrounding areas.
Mpinganjira also added that as a board, they are happy to see SRWB embarking on another unique project of producing bottled water, which will result into increased revenue for the public utility service provider.
SRWB Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Chambamba, also lauded the outgoing board for its support and guidance, which he said fostered a positive working environment for management and staff to deliver high-quality services to customers.
