Balaka SDA delivers a message of peace to the sick

Members of the Balaka Central Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church cheered and prayed for patients receiving medical treatment at Balaka District Hospital as a way of offering hope to the sick.

James Master, one of the patients admitted in the Male Ward, described the experience as phenomenal.

“Balaka District has many churches but the SDA Church has taken the lead by praying and preaching for us. Other churches should follow their example,” Master said.

Jessie Chokani Chiputula, a Nurse and Midwifery Technician at the hospital, said the move by the church contributes to the healing process for the patients.

The church also conducted prayers in the Female, Maternity and Postnatal wards.
