The National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) has announced that the 2024 National Youth Summit will provide a platform for young people from across the country to discuss key issues affecting their lives and development, aligning with the Malawi 2063.
The summit is scheduled to take place from 11 to 13 November 2024 at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, under the theme: “Renewed Commitment to Youth Development Towards Malawi 2063.”
Speaking at a press briefing on Friday in Lilongwe, NYCOM Executive Director, Rex Chapota, expressed the importance of the forthcoming Summit.
He noted that the summit will address a range of pressing issues, including economic empowerment, climate change, employment, governance, and elections.
The gathering is expected to draw over 500 youth leaders from across the nation.
