Old Mutual has launched a primary school career guidance curriculum at Malembo Primary School in Lilongwe, with a view of motivating pupils to aim high.
The company’s Head of Property Services, Elliot Jambo, says their staff will be mentoring learners in different schools across the country through one on one interactions.
Old Mutual has also donated reading books worth K15.5 million to Malembo Primary School and Mzimba LEA School.
Alfred Mphandamkoko, Director of Education in the Ministry of Education for Lilongwe Rural West, has described the gesture by Old Mutual as timely.
