Vice President Dr Michael Usi is scheduled to preside over the official opening of the 2024 Human Resource Society of Malawi Annual General Conference in Mangochi this afternoon.
The conference is a gathering of human resource practitioners aimed to advance human resource excellence among trained professionals in Malawi.
The event will focus on thematic areas such as the role of HR practitioners in aligning their practice to the country’s development blueprint, Malawi 2063 development blueprint and preparing employees for retirement.
The conference theme is: “Actualising the Human Resource Society of Malawi’s Vision: Promoting Excellence in Human Resource Practice.”
