Topik Sisters and Silver Strikers Ladies have secured their spots in the Goshen FAM Women’s Championship semifinals after winning their quarterfinal matches.
The Central Bankers Ladies booked their place in the semis with a 2-0 victory over Civil Service United Women in the early kickoff, with goals from Deborah Henry and Chisomo Banda.
They will face defending champions, Ascent Academy in the last four.
On the other hand, Topik Sisters edged out fellow Mzuzu-based side Moyale Barracks Sisters 5-4 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time.
Topik will face Kukoma Ntopwa Women, who advanced after defeating FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women.
Meanwhile, Ascent Academy reached the semifinals by overcoming MK Academy.
The semifinal matches are set to take place on Thursday, with the final scheduled for Saturday at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre.
