Mobile telecommunications service provider TNM says it has now strengthened its internet connectivity, several days after a massive outage that left customers with disrupted internet service.
Addressing the press in Blantyre and live on the company’s social media platform, TNM CEO Michel Hebert says they quickly rolled a plan into motion to ensure that connectivity is restored.
He points out that two of the company’s reliable fibre link cables were cut at sea, which led to the intermittent connectivity.
He says they reached out to Telekom Namibia, MTN and Mobicel in Mozambique for support, which made life easier as they pursued their internet connectivity restoration efforts.
