The Malawi Red Cross Society has distributed supplies to the flood victims in Nkhotakota District.
The exercise has been delayed a bit as volunteers have to pick cartons with aid, manually crossing the two places where bridges were washed away on M5 at Kaombe River.
The support is expected to reach 1400 households that are displaced in Nkhotakota alone.
