President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is back in Lilongwe after a day’s outing to the commercial capital, Blantyre, for official duties.
While in Blantyre, the Malawi leader was installed as Chancellor of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) and he also conferred degrees to graduates at the first graduation ceremony of MUBAS since it was de linked from the University of Malawi.
Dr Chakwera was welcomed at the Kamuzu International Airport by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Madalitso Kazombo, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Aisha Adams, Malawi Congress Party Regional Governor for the Centre, Zebron Patrick Chilondola , MCP member Ken Msonda and party followers.
