Police launch manhunt for motorcycle robber in Chikwawa

Police in Chikwawa have launched a manhunt for an unidentified person who stabbed a motorcycle operator and stole his bike under the guise of being a customer.

Chikwawa Police publicist, Dickson Matemba, says on 22nd October 2024, the victim, Khefasi Ndeule went to Thabwa Trading Centre for kabaza business and was hired by the suspect.

“On their way, the customer produced a knife and stabbed him several times in the abdomen and at the back and went away with his motorcycle valued at K1.1 million,” Matemba said.

The victim was discovered by well-wishers in a pool of blood.

He is currently receiving medical attention at Chikwawa District Hospital.
