Philanthropist changes winner unveiling approach for her youth entrepreneurship booster initiative

Entrepreneur and philanthropist Triphornia Mpinganjira has changed the unveiling process for winners of her ‘Kuthandiza Omwe Alibe Kuthekera Kupita Patsogolo’ project.

In a statement, Mpinganjira says the project was designed to unveil winners every fortnight but now the remaining 14 winners will be unveiled on August 28 this year.

“We have several programmes in the offing, and having this one run until December would make it difficult for us to launch new programmes,” reads part of the statement.

In April this year, Mpinganjira launched the project to support the youth in entrepreneurship by providing a start-up capital of K1 million grant to 18 young people.

So far, four winners have already received K1 million each to start their businesses.
